Roses

My rosé bush – Zepherine Drouhin -bloomed incredibly this year.  I think it may have been because I cut it back in the Fall…it was getting in the way of my driveway.

It’s a bourbon rose originally cultivated in the late 1800’s so it smells wonderful! It’s easy to get from the mail order plant companies and fairly inexpensive.  What’s really nice is that it’s thornless so handling it is relatively easy to handle.
